I spent 10 years writing short, snappy content for a casual game website, Addicting Games. As an antidote, I started writing long-form non-fiction stories. This led to my current position as a Senior Content Designer at QuickBooks.
I volunteer with the Presidio Trust in San Francisco, doing habitat restoration in the Presidio, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. In the process, I’ve been able to interview field biologists and join efforts like collecting freshwater mussels, transplanting caterpillars, and monitoring native turtle populations. Lately, I’ve focused my writing on these community science collaborations.
